Welcome to the fourth annual regional edition of Outbreak Outlook. This year, I'm trying a new format. Regional overviews are at the top, and state-level information is consolidated at the bottom. I rely heavily on reader feedback to shape my coverage, so please leave comments or write to caitlin@forceofinfection.com.
