Influenza-like illness
The South remains tied with the West for the highest flu hospitalization rate, at 2.1 per 100,000. The other indicators I look at are rising as well: flu accounts for 1.6% of ED visits, up from 1.3% last week. Outpatient influenza-like illness rose from 2.4% to 2.7%. Flu test positivity rose from 5.8% to 8.7%.
