Influenza-like illness
The West remains tied with the South for the highest flu hospitalization rate, now at 2.2 per 100,000. The other indicators I look at are rising as well: flu accounts for 1.7% of ED visits, up from 1.2% last week. Outpatient influenza-like illness (shown below) rose from 2.6% to 3.0%, and flu test positivity rose from 10.0% to 11.7%.
